Working with a variety of clients, most recently with CapitalOne, in planning, execution and
control of a portfolio of software and infrastructure projects.
Principal Accomplishments:
 Drove project execution from initiation to implementation utilizing PMI best practices.
 Managed a team of 11 off-shore and 4 on-shore developers in addition to BSAs and Tech
Support, ensuring workload allocation and scheduling risks were properly addressed.
 Aggressively managed a portfolio of concurrent projects implementing process
automation/team collaboration functionality, through effective stakeholder interactions.
 Led a $3.7 million project establishing an enterprise-wide SharePoint platform to be used
by 15000 employees, consolidating disparate systems inherited from the merger of two

all assigned work. Worked closely with client BSAs and SEs to develop business requirements.
Developed project plans and worked with Development managers in allocation and prioritization
of the project pipeline.

Provided PM expertise in developing implementation methodologies for the company latest product
offering (resulting from a company acquisition). Managed projects across various product lines
helping demonstrate the feasibility of an IT-wide PMO model.
Significantly improved project performance improving budget, time, scope and quality of deliverables
Led the completion of the largest client-facing company project in 2005 worth well over $1M and
ensured that all deliverable targets were met as described in the SOW. The success of that project
was used extensively by Client Services during the contract renewal negotiations with that client,
which led to a new 3 year contact at the end of 2005.
Assumed leadership of a “data enhancement” program integrating travel and financial transactions,
working primarily with European and Asian clients. Negotiated increased resource allocation thus

Completed conversion of internet infrastructure from NES to SunOne(iPlanet), an effort attempted by
2 previous teams without success.
Laid the foundation for various platform migration and server consolidation projects that resulted in
Run-the-Engine cost reduction of $1.4M.
Managed various medium cross-platform E-Commerce projects that produced efficiency gains and
provided better utilization of hardware and human recourses in that space.
Led Internet Development projects for on-line Banking systems such as Internet Search.

Independent consultant, responsible for the execution of various contracts at the Dept. of Housing &

 Led requirements definition effort for enterprise-wide electronic grant management to consolidate
over 100 manual processes and provide model for interagency implementation.
 Analyzed RFQs and FRDs and advised on project plans for proposed conversions of legacy systems
to n-tier architecture.
 Managed IV&V testing effort for 270 existing LAN and Client/Server systems to verify their
seamless operation as part of a Novell/Win95 to Win2000 server/WinXP conversion.
 Guided a successful strategic IT consolidation study for the Office of Administration that will result
in the streamlining of data collection and reporting and result in savings in excess of $15M annually.
