Job Description Clinical Psychologist/ Stage II Integrated Recovery Team Leader Location Falkirk and District Women’s Aid 21 Wellside Place Falkirk FK1 5RL Salary £39,000 - £47,000 pro rata (negotiable for right candidate) Hours 21 hours per week Five year funding from The Big Lottery has enabled Falkirk and District Women’s Aid (which supports women men and children affected by and living with Domestic Abuse) to appoint to this exciting post. Our clients are primarily women who have been through the experience of Domestic Abuse and therefore have poor self-esteem and often difficulty in relating to men. We operate an Integrated 3 Stage Trauma Recovery Model. You will provide a clinical psychology service to clients, offering assessments and therapeutic intervention whilst also supplying non clinical colleagues with advice and consultation on client’s psychological care. You will also facilitate group work in relation to trauma recovery and anxiety reduction in conjunction with colleagues and lead the Stage II Service (managing 2 Counsellors). It is essential you have a post graduate doctorate and training in clinical psychology (or equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS or HPS. You must be registered with the HCPC and preferably have experience of working in Trauma Recovery. The post requires PVG Scheme Registration.
