Obituary: Nina P. Wooding

Nina P. Wooding, 94, of Swanton, VT, died
peacefully on Thursday, December 20, 2012, at
St. Albans HealthCare and Rehabilitation
Center, St. Albans, VT.
Nina was born in Waterbury, CT, the daughter
of Benjamin and Bessie Peaselee. Prior to
retiring in Swanton with her late husband
William over 30 years ago, Nina made her
home in Princeton, NJ, and Old Greenwich,
CT. She is pre-deceased by her daughter,
Barbara, Bose, and survived by her daughter
Elizabeth "Beth" Wooding of East Granby,
CT; her grandsons, Eric and David Kontur,
also of East Granby; her granddaughter Susan
Bose Stempek, and her husband Mike of
Woburn, MA; her great-granddaughter
Catherine Eleanor Stempek, also of Woburn; her niece, Robin Wooding, of Wolcott, CT,
and her son-in-law Bob Bose of Hertford, NC.
While living in Swanton, Nina made many wonderful friends, and volunteered at the
Swanton Elementary School. In addition to being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother,
Nina was an avid reader, loved to visit with her friends, and was a great lover of animals,
especially cats, all her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Nina's family wishes to extend heartfelt appreciation to the compassionate, loving staff of
the St. Albans HealthCare and Rehabilitation Center, as well as the Franklin County Home
Health Agency. A very special thank you with love to her kind friends, Sandy and Tracy
Bulriss; Cathy and Jim Chase; and Marianne Rainville, who helped to make her final years as
warm and happy as possible.
