WELCOME & INTRODUCTION
Dawn Jones welcomed the group to the Annual General Meeting and thanked them for
attending.
APPOINTMENT OF NEW COMMITTEE
The Chairperson explained to the group that a new committee needed to be elected at this
meeting. Voting papers were handed out and the group and nominations for new committee
members were made:
Nominees for position of Chairperson - Mrs Dawn Jones (Current Chair) & Mrs Rachel Thomas
Nominees for position of Vice Chair -Mrs Rachel Thomas & Mrs Kelly Davies
Nominees for position of Secretary -Mrs Nicola Rush
Nominees for position of Treasurer -Mrs Debbie Carson
Votes were cast and counted by Mr P Hamilton and Mrs J Lewis and the following
Committee was elected by unanimous decision:Chairperson – Mrs Dawn Jones
Vice Chair Person – Mrs Rachel Thomas
Secretary – Mrs Nicola Rush
Treasurer – Mrs Debbie Carson
FINANCE REPORT
A full breakdown of finances over the last 12 months was presented to the group by the
Treasurer.
UPCOMING FUNDRAISING EVENTS
Winter Bingo
To be held on Thursday, 19th November 2015 Doors open 6pm, Eyes Down 6:30pm.
It was agreed to hold a separate children’s event at the same time as per previous years with a
charge of £2.00 per child to include a game card and a drink.
Non School Uniform Day to be held on Friday 6th November 2015. Children will be asked to
bring a donation for the Bingo Hampers.
Dawn Jones, Kelly Davies, Hannah Jones, Sue Hughes, Gemma Tilston and Rachel Thomas
all kindly volunteered to help out on the night. Rachel Thomas will be the Bingo Caller for
the evening
‘TGI Friday’ Ladies Night
A Christmas themed ladies night is to be held on Friday 27th November from 7pm at The
Wynnstay, Ruabon. The Manager at the Wynnstay kindly agreed to let the group use the
venue free of charge. It was agreed to charge £3.00 per ticket which would double up as entry
for door prize raffle. Stall holders (maximum 8-10) will be invited to attend for a charge of £5
per table and asked to donate a small raffle prize. Anyone who would like a stall on the
evening is asked to contact Nicola Rush. It was agreed that the event would also be
advertised externally and that attendees could also pay on the door providing the maximum
room capacity (70-80 people) was not exceeded.
It was suggested that demonstrations may be a good idea to keep people entertained for the
duration of the evening.
Nicola to bring tickets/posters to advertise the event to the next meeting

Bingo and TGI Friday Event)
