EDUCATION Elementary - Northeast ~ Danville (K-2) Newtown Grade School (3-8) High School - Oakwood High School College - Eastern Illinois University - earned Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education - May 1988 Eastern Illinois University - earned Masters of Science Degree in Elementary Education - May 2002 FAMILY Husband - Thomas Farrell (We celebrated our 31st Wedding Anniversary August 22nd.) Children - Ashley Farrell Gondzur (age 27) career: High School English Teacher ~married to my son in law, Ryan Gondzur T. Tyler Farrell (age 23) Student at ITT (Pursuing degree in Digital Programming and Design) and works in Home improvement Courtney Farrell Perez (age 21) ~ married to my son in law, Daniel Perez and they are parents to my first grandchild ~ Ava Lillian Perez born 7-2-11. Parents - Bill & Judy Clem (retired) Live in Danville Sibling - Will Clem (Passed away 12-7-09) Significant other: Allison Haines Many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins on both sides of my family Clem and Powell. Mother in Law (retired) Lives in Tucson, AZ 5 Brothers in Law and their Spouses, 3 Sisters in Law and their Spouses, 24 nieces and nephews and most recently 3 Great nephews (and one more on the way) ~ what fun we have at Farrell Family Gatherings! Pets 2 cats - Max (age 18) & Milo (age 3) 3 dogs- Daisy & Duke (Longhaired Chihuahuas - age 7) 2 Aquariums with tropical fish Hobbies and Interests I enjoy reading and scrap booking. I have an interest in health and fitness and try to maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating wisely and getting exercise on a regular basis. I am a Weight Watchers leader and enjoy helping others learn how to work towards a healthier lifestyle. I enjoy volunteering at my church with teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. I also enjoy being a part of volunteer activities through my church and with other civic and community organizations. Of course my deepest passion is TEACHING! I love helping children learn to love LEARNING. I first taught Preschool at Danville Lutheran School for 3 years. I came to Bismarck-Henning Elementary School in August 1997 and I taught Kindergarten here for 12 years. Now I am entering my 15th year and for the third time, am so very excited to be teaching 3rd Grade!
