Stephen Farrell is the author of Hamas: The Islamic Resistance Movement (Polity
Press 2010), together with Beverley Milton-Edwards (Queen’s University Belfast).
Their book draws upon frontline experience and interviews with leaders, militants
and commanders in Hamas’ armed battalions. Stephen Farrell is a foreign
correspondent for The New York Times, and has also been Middle East
correspondent for The Times of London.
