Dear 8th Grade Parents,
The 8th graders will be going on the annual Washington D.C./Gettysburg class trip on May 1013, 2016.










The cost this year will be $462 and will be broken up into 3 payments of $154
The first payment is due Friday November 13th 2015
The second payment is due Friday January 15th 2016
The 3rd and last payment is due Friday March 11th 2016

If your last name is not the same as your child’s last name, please note that on
the check
The trip itinerary is on the school website
There will be a parent meeting at the end of April, or beginning of May
Emergency forms will be coming home in the beginning of April
All Washington D.C. information will be on the main KMS website
If you would like to apply for financial assistance, please email Mr. Fromwiller at
jeff.fromwiller@kenstonapps.org. Scholarships usually cover up to $200 of the total cost. Not all
requests can be rewarded. All requests must be made to Mr. Fromwiller by November 14th,
any request after this date will not be accepted. If a request is made, please be sure to make
some sort of down payment to assure a spot. Refunds can be given up to 6 weeks prior to
leaving on the trip. A financial assistance form can be printed off of the KMS website.
