WEATHER
 Weather in the Bay Area in March is very
unpredictable. Temperatures average in the low 50’s
to the high 60’s, however, this can vary greatly even
on the same day when going from one micro
climate to another. Rain is also possible at this time
of year. Be sure to bring layered clothing and wet
weather gear.
MEALS / SOUVENIR COSTS
 World Projects suggests budgeting approximately $10
per meal for lunch and $15-$20 per meal for dinner
on own (breakfasts and two dinners are included).
Suggested total for meals on own would be $55-65.
 Money for souvenirs / snacks, etc. are at the
discretion of each family.
Liability Insurance - INCLUDED
 World Projects carries General Liability Insurance coverage to $3,000,000.00.
Trip Cancellation Insurance – NOT INCLUDED
 Individual group members who wish to purchase “Trip Cancellation” insurance
can do so through World Projects via our insurance partner web site and
follow the directions there. Contact your director for the link:
http://www.worldtravelcenter.com/eng/cobrandindex.cfm?affiliate=worldprojects
Musical Instrument Insurance – NOT INCLUDED
 World Projects takes care to coordinate with airlines and ground transport to
assure their proper handling of musical instruments, but does not assume
liability for damage to instruments that may occur during a group tour. We
recommend that instrument owners establish coverage under an existing
personal property insurance policy. Or, instrument owners may want to
contact a company that specializes in musical instrument insurance such as
Clarion Insurance at www.clarionins.com or Music Pro Insurance at
www.musicproinsurance.com.
