Dear Vendor,
This year’s festival will be held on Saturday, May 23th, with Opening Ceremonies being
held on Friday evening, May 22th. Vendors are allowed to begin setting up on Friday
afternoon after 1:00 pm if they so choose. Set up time on Saturday morning will begin
at 5:30 am and end at 7:45 am. All vehicles MUST be out of the festival area by this
time. NO EXCEPTIONS. Vendors will open at 8:00 am Saturday morning and remain
open until 8:00 pm Saturday night. Sunday, May 24th is optional.
In order to qualify as a Craft vendor, all items sold must be handmade and your own
work. If you purchase sweatshirts, towels or something of this nature and decorate it
yourself, that is considered ‘handmade.’ If you purchase items and sell them as they are,
such as jewelry or toys, you are considered a Commercial vendor. If you are not sure
what category you fit in, please contact me and I will determine your category.
NO VENDOR MAY SELL SNAP POPS, STREAMERS, SILLY STRING, FIREWORKS OR
ANY ITEMS OF THIS NATURE. ANY VENDOR FOUND SELLING THESE ITEMS
WILL BE ASKED TO PUT THEM AWAY.
All applications and payments must be received by April 30th, 2015. Only cashier’s
checks or money orders are accepted for payment. Cash will be accepted if paying in
person. NO PERSONAL CHECKS! If you send a business or personal check it will be
returned to you and your space will not be reserved. Please make cashier’s checks and
money orders payable to: Fossil Festival 2014. Send all applications and payments to:

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
I, ______________________________________, a vendor at the Fossil Festival
in Aurora, NC certify that I do not have an event insurance certificate. I agree to hold
the Aurora/Richland Township Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Aurora and the
Fossil Festival Committee harmless for any injury or loss to any person or goods for any
cause whatsoever. I also agree that the stated organizations cannot be held responsible
for any claims for damage, injury or loss arising out of or in connection with the use of
the space or grounds in the Fossil Festival.
