Tomatoes
Pink Beauty
Perfect, pink, medium-size, 6-8 oz.,
flattened globes have full, rich tomato
flavor. One of the best tasting
tomatoes in our Albion trials. Healthy
plants produce firm, blemish-free fruit.
A great variety for market.
Oregon Spring
This now-famous determinate, slicing
variety was developed at Oregon
State University. Their research shows
that Oregon Spring will produce
incredibly early yields of 4-inch oval
tomatoes when planted outside a month
before your last frost date and
protection on frosty nights.
Big Beef
Vigorous, indeterminate vines ripen big,
4-6 inch, globe shaped tomatoes
earlier then other varieties of this size.
The firm, crack-resistant tomatoes have
a wonderfully sweet, slightly acid
flavor and produce over a long period.
Early Girl
Early girl Staking variety. Starts
maturing fruit early and carries on
producing to relatively late in the
season. Moderate sweetness, medium
to high acidity. A good all season
tomato for those who prefer the acid
notes in tomatoes
Sun Sugar
Staking variety. A golden yellow cherry
tomato with particularly good flavor,
almost universally preferred over other
cherry tomatoes. Seems to perform well
over a range of climatic conditions,
including cool early season.
Celebrity
Popular and well adapted to many
short-season areas. The medium-large
(7–8 ounce) firm, globe-shaped fruit
are extraordinarily pretty, flavorful,
and very crack resistant
Reif Red Leaf
From J. Reif in PA, who got the seeds
from an elderly Italian man. Big vines
with wispy leaves producing lots of
beautiful red, 10-12 oz., heart-shaped
fruits. Meaty & very flavorful.
Totem
Perfect for container growing, this
dwarf tomato plant only becomes 10
to 12 inches tall, but produces lots of
flavorful, small red tomatoes. Dark
green, quilted leaves are attractive
and fruit is abundant, making this a
great variety for indoor gardening.
Needs no staking.
Juliet
Elongated cherry tomatoes grow in
grape-like clusters and really load up
on vigorous vines. The 1-ounce fruit has
red, glossy skin and wonderful sweet
flavor. As a bonus, the fruit is crackresistant and holds on the vine better
than most cherries. Expect high yields
from plants that are tolerant to late
blight and leaf spot.
WOW Cherry
An open-pollinated cherry tomato
better than Sun Gold? That’s been the
holy grail of tomato breeders.
Garland, ME, breeder Relentless and
our tasters think he may have it: the
orange color, the Sun Gold Brix with
more tomatoey flavor and an added
resistance to cracking. A selection from
Relentless’ SunWine group with
Brandywine, Sun Gold and a grape
tomato in the parentage.
Virginia Sweet
A yellow and red bi-color tomato.
Very large, many over 1 lb, with a
sweet, mellow taste.
Sweet 100
Huge, multiple-branched clusters of
1/2 inch very sweet fruit with high
vitamin C content. Mouth-watering
flavor. Vigorous vines bear abundantly
until frost and need staking for
best results.
Roma
Bred for ketchup, tomato juice or
soup making. Tomato Roma is
very thick, juicy, nearly seedless
and plum shaped tomato with a
deliciously different flavor which
makes it an excellent variety for
eating fresh as well. Roma is very
heavy cropping and disease
resistant
Italian gold
Plant produces good yields of 3 oz
golden-orange plum shaped tomatoes.
Excellent for making rich and thick
paste and sauces. Also good for
canning and freezing. Determinate.
Disease Resistant
