Great Ends of the Church Fund 2016 Grant Year Application May 14, 2015 Greetings from the Great Ends of the Church Fund Subcommittee! Recall the Great Ends of the Church: The proclamation of the gospel for the salvation of humankind; The shelter, nurture, and spiritual fellowship of the children of God; The maintenance of divine worship; The preservation of the truth; The promotion of social righteousness; The exhibition of the Kingdom of Heaven to the world! Following is the 2016 Grant Year Application for your review. This year, we are hoping to distribute nearly $200,000 in grants. For this funding cycle, we have again streamlined the application and the timeline. Applications will be due by 5:00 PM on Friday, August 21. Like last year, the subcommittee would like the opportunity to meet with interested candidates to discover more about their hopes to live into the Great Ends of the Church. Meetings between applicants and the subcommittee will be held the week of October 5. There is no one model for a successful application. Based upon the total number of applications received, the subcommittee will prayerfully and thoughtfully award funds to those proposals that stand out the most. We encourage each applicant to continue observing the needs of your community, prayerfully follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and continue discerning God's will for your ministry. Please direct all questions regarding the application to the Rev. Ayana Teter ateter@pghpresbytery.org We look forward to reading about what is happening in your ministry!
