Leung I know they boys are bitterly disappointed with the results but they should hold their heads up. We played a fantastic game and no rub of green for us……again! We only had 17 and two of those were really not 100% fit. Everybody just rolled their sleeves up and got to work and did not take backward step. Kyle Dunn was magnificent. Lots of possessions, played on the ball, tagged and due to injuries was our ruckman for the entire second half. Daniel Leung not only kicked his first goal of his football career, he got 4 of them. He is improving every week. Ben Miller playing game 100 also was in thick of the action getting 4 goals. I was extremely pleased with how Lachlan French went at fullback, was always on his man and took some great marks. James Mackenzie had very good second half getting the ball out of the centre square and pushing it towards our goals. Towards the end of game we saw Joe Cathie get carried off. As I am writing this he is on crutches and looks he will be missing 3-4 weeks, a very big loss for us. What I liked about our effort as there were times in the game where Queanbeyan was all over us but we soaked the pressure the up. There were times where we dropped off but I am seeing much less of that now, it use to be a period of 5 to 7 minutes, now its only happening in a period of 1 to 2 minutes. Their concentration is improving Need to work on our skills, so a heavy focus on skills this week at training. I think they are panicking and just kicking it when they have more time to seek out an option (more talk boys). If there is a football god, can we please try and find out what we have done to upset it? We are having no luck in the injury department. We now have Joe Cathie joining Cameron Fidge (fractured wrist) Sam Rusanov (fractured collarbone), Thomas Emerson (severe concussion), Aaron Marquart (ankle) and Luke Zwiers (back). If we get everyone else we have 16 available for our next game. Wendell Zwiers
