SUBSCRIPTION FEES WILL BE PAID MONTHLY
The fees for all members are set at £24/month (£12/month for students), payable by standing order, which
includes access to all relevant swimming, cycling and running sessions. You should set up a standing order to
pay monthly payments. The details for the standing order are: Royal bank of Scotland; Account name –
Lomond Swimming & Triathlon Club; Account No. 06001736; and sort code – 80-05-27. Please use
your name as a reference. The first payment is to be received by the end of the first month of joining.
TRAINING SESSIONS
Details are found on www.lomondmasters.co.uk. All other training outside of this is done so at the
members own risk. All members are responsible for being in a fit & healthy condition to undertake
any training and competitions that they enter. If in doubt please discuss with the Head Coach.
TRIATHLON SCOTLAND MEMBERSHIP
The club is affiliated with Triathlon Scotland. Any members wishing to compete or participate in
open-water swimming or non-pool training are recommended to take out full membership with
Triathlon Scotland. This will ensure they have full insurance and receive many other benefits such
as:
- A Race Licence providing reduced event entry costs
- Worldwide Personal Accident Insurance and Legal Advice
- Eligibility to win Scottish Championship titles, race ranking points and prize money
- Eligibility to qualify and represent Scotland and Great Britain
Price is £36 pa (which includes a £4 club discount)

Rules relating to Membership Applications
1. Membership is subject to acceptance by the Committee.
2. Membership must be approved before a member can swim or compete for the Club.
3. Membership fees are payable for each individual (there are no family reductions.)
4. A copy of the Club Rules, Code of Conduct and other policy documents may be obtained
from the Club Secretary.
Rules relating to Training, Classes, Fitness sessions and Club requirement to volunteer at events
1. Training fees are due on the on the same day of each month.
2. All Details are found on www.lomondmasters.co.uk.
3. Lomond Swimming & Triathlon Club is not able to assume legal responsibility to its
members or others for non-pool training, including open water swimming. All other training
outside of coached pool sessions is done so at the member’s own risk.
4. All members are responsible for being in a fit & healthy condition to undertake any training
and competitions that they enter. If in doubt please discuss with the a Club Coach.
5. If training fees are more than 1 months in arrears, the member may be excluded from
training / sessions /classes until the fees are paid in full.
6. No refund of training fees will be made in any circumstances other than enforced absence
due to illness or injury for a continuous period in excess of 1 month. All refunds are subject
to agreement by the Committee.
7. Should circumstances require it, the Committee reserves the right to alter training / sessions
or classes at any time. In cases where a training session is unavailable due to pool closure or
other unavoidable event, an alternative session can be attended with the permission of the
Coach at the session / classes.
8. Attendance at any classes, training or session is at the discretion of the Coach or Instructor
at that time.
9. All members are encouraged to assist the events committee, where possible, with the
preparation and running of events that the club holds each year.
