Tao of Pooh Oral Analysis of a Passage Assessment
During the class periods of Wednesday, September 17 through Monday, September
22, 2014, you will be expected to complete an oral analysis of a passage from Hoff’s
Tao of Pooh. Passages will be provided for your analysis on the scheduled date of
your oral. You will have ten minutes in class to read the passage, mark up the text,
and plan your oral conversation. You will then share your commentary with me in a
five-minute oral after which I will ask 3 minutes of questions to further your
commentary. This assessment will be evaluated on Standards A, D, E, and L. This
assessment is TIME SENSITIVE; so if you have a conflict with one of the scheduled
dates, please see Ms. Hartle to re-schedule during CASEE or another class (if
possible).
