Maryland Arts Integration Network (MAIN) Event
AEMS is hosting the September MAIN event at the new performing and visual arts facility in Annapolis High School.
The focus of the morning will be the integration of the Common Core and the fine arts. Specifically, the conversation and
strategies will highlight how academic literacy can become an inspiration for artistic products. There will be
presentations, networking opportunities, and a tour of the beautiful arts spaces.
The presentations and networking discussion will be crafted to address the interests of arts educators, non-arts educators
who integrate the arts into their disciplines, and teaching artists.

Cost:
A $10 donation will be asked for all MAIN Events. These monies will go to the host venue for light
breakfast fare and a donation to the host site to support programs in arts education.
