ADAPTIVE PILATES
If you have physical limitations, this fitness class will help improve strength, balance, coordination,
posture, and mobility. Chair, free weights, and resistance bands are used in the workout. No Class 1/18,

ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION EXERCISE PROGRAM
This program offers gentle, joint-safe exercises developed specifically for people with arthritis to help
relieve stiffness, decrease arthritis pain, and improve balance. The low-impact exercises can be done

BODY AND BREATH YOGA
Open and lengthen the body while listening and focusing on breathing. You will feel strength and calm

CHAIR YOGA
Sitting in the chair will provide a modification to help you move as you practice yoga. When using
muscles that are tight, it may feel more stable and balanced to be seated. This class is great for people
with a range of abilities. If you have an issue with typical exercise this is a great class for you.

STRENGTH AND BALANCE FOR SENIORS
This class uses exercises from the Matter of Balance model recognized by OHSU ThinkFirst Oregon Brain
& Spinal Cord Injury Prevention Program. The focus is on using chair exercises and standing exercises to
find ways to reduce fall risk factors. Learn to increase strength, flexibility, and balance with exercise!
Discuss strategies for moving through your day in a thoughtful and safe way.

This form of meditative movement originated in China. It teaches mind/body harmony and how to
cultivate internal energy and chi. It will assist with relaxation, relief from stress, and promotion of general

TRADITIONAL BELLY DANCE
This class will begin with light stretching before moving into slow isolation and warm up drills. We will
then break into faster percussive moves that will build into simple routines and drills. This is a great class
for the beginner or intermediate looking to get back into the swing of things. This course focuses on the
basics of Tribal Fusion Belly Dance with additional layers added on for more experienced students.
Develop a basic vocabulary of movements, zilling, transitions, and improvisational cues. Belly dance is a
great exercise and it is fun!
