Week 2 – Vocabulary
1. Inference (noun) - a conclusion reached on the basis of evidence and reasoning.
2. Brainstorm (verb) - To think, consider, or investigate (an issue, for example) by brainstorming.
3. Synthesize (verb) - To form a synthesis; the combining of separate elements to form a coherent
whole.
4. Abbreviation (noun) - a shortened form of a word or phrase.
5. Composition (noun) - the act or process of composing; specifically : arrangement into specific
proportion or relation and especially into artistic form.
6. Relevance (noun) - relation to the matter at hand; relates to the needs of the user.
