For more information and eligibility see Information Page. Please note this is a non profit venture and all income is used to cover essential costs and charges. We will require a £50.00 non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. Non Child Development & Disability Service users / non Amaze Compass Card holders will be required to provide their own bed linen or pay an additional cost for Shorefield to provide bed linen. This cost is currently £4.20 per bed. 11/10 CONDITIONS OF LETTING Bookings The site is normally open from February to the end of December although generally full facilities and entertainment programmes do not start until May and close in September. The holiday park details are the Trust’s interpretation and if any facilities are important to you for the enjoyment of your holiday, please check direct with the park before booking. The Trust’s caravan is suitable for a person with special needs supported by family or carers. It is advisable that the units have at least one able-bodied person, and if this is not possible for any reason, the Trust Office must be informed of the circumstances prior to the holiday. The unit is ramped and the internal arrangements are suitable for standard manual wheelchair access. The caravan does have a mobile hoist which can be used, but there are no overhead hoist facilities in the caravan or on site. There are ceiling grab handles in some of the bedrooms. Kitchen units are at the normal standard height. Kitchen and cooking equipment has not been adapted. Please complete this with your preferred and alternative date requests. For holidays during peak times there will be a date for applications to be in. Please see covering brochure for details. Once you have received a letter confirming your dates, a non-refundable deposit of £50 will need to be paid within two weeks to secure your booking. The final balance must be paid one month prior to your holiday. If you cancel your booking one month before your holiday due date, you will lose your deposit. If you cancel your booking between one month and 48 hours of the date you expected to start your holiday, you will lose 50% of the cost. If you cancel less than 48 hours, the cost of your holiday will be non-refundable. Notification of cancellation must be made to the Team Administration at Drove Road as soon as possible prior to the commencement of the holiday. During the winter months in extreme freezing weather conditions, it is possible that the mains water pipe could freeze. Whilst taking every precaution to prevent this from happening it is sometimes beyond our control. This will not affect the heating but will affect running water and flushing of the toilet. Holiday cancellations will be subject to the normal policy as stated in the Conditions of letting. Only people named on your application form are permitted to stay overnight in Forest View. Names and addresses (and ages of anyone under 21) must be logged with us before the commencement of the holiday. If this legal requirement is not met, the booking may be terminated immediately and you may be asked to leave with no refund. Holiday Contract A contract between you and the Trust is made when the Trust accepts your booking and deposit payment by issuing written confirmation. The contract binds you and all the members of your party. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party accept these terms and conditions of booking. Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract and loss of the booking. Paying the Balance The balance of the full amount must be paid at least one month before the holiday date. Please contact us if the payment will be late. If full payment has not been received by this date, the holiday is subject to automatic cancellation. Arrivals and Departure Once your booking form is received and your booking confirmed, we will send out an information pack with details of the park, how to get there and any other essential information you require. Please let us know as soon as possible if you require any additional information or photos and we can supply them to you. You will be able to collect the keys from Shorefield Reception after 4.p.m. on the day of your arrival. The Reception is open from 7.30 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. On the day of departure, in order to prepare for the incoming visitors for the next letting, you are asked to depart by 10.00 a.m. Trust & Park Rules We retain the right to refuse admission and the right to eject any occupants who cause a nuisance, disturbance or damage in respect of our property, the surrounding area or holiday park; or do not adhere to the Trust’s conditions of letting or the Holiday Park rules. The Trust reserves the right to terminate a holiday without compensation if the behaviour of anyone using the Trust’s units or their guests impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of the Holiday Park’s guests. Pets We are sorry that no animals can be permitted in Forest View and this includes any that visitors may bring. However guide dogs will be permitted. Accommodation Our caravan has two bedrooms, one with a mechanical bed, both twin bedrooms. There is additional sleeping for two people in the lounge on a pull out bed. Pictures and a full description of the caravan are enclosed. Forest View has hot and cold water, a gas cooker, microwave oven, freezer, refrigerator, colour TV/DVD, heating appliances, essential cutlery, crockery and utensils. (Please provide your own tea towels.)There is a bathroom with a toilet, shower and hand basin. We supply pillows, blankets and duvets. In order to assist us in keeping the costs of running Forest View to a minimum, non Child Development & Disability Service users/ non Amaze Compass Card holders will be asked to provide their own bed linen or alternatively pay the Shorefiled cost of providing and washing the linen and making the beds. Please see tariff sheet for current costs. After your stay, the park will come and clean the caravan and change all the linen. However, we do ask that you notify us of any breakages immediately so we can arrange for any repairs as soon as possible. In addition, we do ask that you leave the caravan tidy and respect the property whilst you are staying there. In an emergency during your stay at Forest View or to report a maintenance problem please go to the main reception. If a problem occurs outside of reception hours there is a 24 hour contact number which will be supplied on your arrival and is displayed on the wall outside of reception. We will also send you a feedback form with the booking information. We would ask you to complete the form after your stay and return this to us at 55 Drove Road. The Trust will endeavour not to change the date or cancel your booking, but in exceptional circumstances this may be necessary. The Trust will inform you of the change of date or cancellation as soon as possible and give you the following options: a) accept a full refund b) move your booking to another week.
