Kidder Memorial Home Obituary Theodore Eugene Demczuk Dateline: Alburgh, Vermont Theodore “Ted” Demczuk, age 78 years, died Friday afternoon, April 3, 2015, at the Vermont Respite House in Williston with his wife Karin at his side. A native of the Hartford, Connecticut area Ted and his wife have resided in Alburgh for the past 10 years. Born in Hartford, CT on, August 30, 1936, he was the son of the late John W. and Veronica (Kalg) Demczuk. He attended Connecticut schools and faithfully served his country in the Connecticut National Guard and the United States Air Force. His work experience included managing several restaurants in the Hartford area, retailing equipment for area restaurants at B. Goldens and Sons Restaurant Equipment and Supply Company, and working as a security guard at the Wadsworth Atheneum Art Museum also in Hartford. He leaves his wife, the former Karin Hamerlin of Alburgh; a son, Mark Demczuk of Windsor, CT; a daughter, Donna Demczuk and husband Leroy Wells of Saugerties, NY; one grandson, Francesco Theodore Lomangino of Tinton Falls, NJ; his brother, John Demczuk and his wife Irene of S. Carolina; a step-daughter, Victoria and her husband Douglas DeVeau of East Hampton, CT; three stepgrandchildren, Devin, Elise and Iris; his cherished cousin, Helene Skuratko in France; his former wife, Diane Claire Demczuk of East Hartford, CT as well as nephews, Cliff and Jeff Demczuk. A Private family service will take place at The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Avenue, Swanton, VT. Pastor Bruce Patterson of the Northside Baptist Church will officiate. There will be no public calling hours.
