St. Edward School Annual Giving
It’s quite simple.
You can see for yourself, what Annual Giving means to St. Edward School—our
students, their families, our faculty and staff. It’s all on the enclosed
Annual Giving Report for last year. Here are the basic facts:

St. Edward is a great school.
Tuition supports a good education. Annual Giving supports a great education.
All Annual Giving money goes directly to St. Edward School in one of two funds.
The two funds are general or designated.
The general fund is non-restricted and used at St. Edward’s discretion to best benefit our students, their families,
our faculty and staff. Examples would include new preschool furniture and blocks for our expanded Pre K program
and professional development for our faculty/staff.
6. Designated funds restrict the money’s use to the donor’s discretion. Examples would include tuition assistance,
technology, fine arts, athletics, scholarships and special interests of the donor. For example, last year an alumnus
and grandparent of St. Edward School purchased directed reading books for each classroom as their Annual Giving
donation.
7. Your gift, no matter the amount, pays for something that directly benefits St. Edward students.
Participate. 100% of our faculty and staff support Annual Giving each year. We also ask our school parents
for 100% participation and our students get involved as well! Our parish generously supports our school each year through
weekly giving and many parishioners support our school’s Annual Giving in addition. We ask you to consider participating
this year with your prayers and financial support. Your gift is fully tax-deductible and very much appreciated.
Here are your options:
1. Fill out the enclosed gift card and return it to school with your student or by mail. Enclose your check made payable
to St. Edward School Annual Giving. OR
2. Fill out the pledge portion on the card and asked to be invoiced for your gift to be paid at a later date. OR
3. Fill out the enclosed gift card and select donate on-line. Proceed to the website StEdward.org and select the
Donation page. Select Annual Giving as your gift option.
