Lesson duration

Progress expectation
The student should be able to learn past simple with irregular verbs, talk
about actions in past, using the right pronunciation. She should be able to
create negative, affirmative and interrogative sentences using past simple
form. She is going to be able to do a past routine using different verbs
(regular and irregular).
Subject
Review the past simple tense, and introduce irregular verbs. Make
negative, affirmative and interrogative sentences with them.
Topic
Using the past simple tense in order to expand her knowledge of English
to talk about past simple actions including irregular verbs.
Aim
Prepare student to be able to discuss and talk about the past simple in a
proper and wider context.
Objective
Student should be able to recognize actions in past simple using irregular
verbs, make positives, negatives and interrogatives sentences,
pronouncing them correctly.
Knowledge assumed
It is assumed that a beginner student has a basic ability to communicate,
just know few words, and she isn’t able to extend a conversation. The
student understands simple sentences, instructions and descriptions used
in everyday life.
Material & equipment I will need some black paper to use as board, a list of the most common
irregular verbs and a written routing in present, to make her do it in past.
Learning assessment The planned exercises will make her practices and describe both regular
verbs and irregular verbs mostly, using positive, negatives and
interrogative sentences, at the entire class to show how much the student
has registered.
Post lesson notes
The lesson went as planned, it was more difficult to her than the first class,
because of the irregular verbs, but she understood everything, so I think
then the lesson was planned for the right level of my student. The student
felt so comfortable again, she was so kind and talkative. I think she could
learn the topic, and the materials were useful. His level of attention was
good, as he was the only student in this class, even when we were in a
public place, full of sounds to distract easily. I she was interested, and she
liked the class. So I think that my explanation was clear, ands he was able
to understand it. I spoke in English during the class, but in the warmer and
after that we talk a bit in Spanish, to make her understand better.
I will recommend to a future teacher to prepare a good warm up and
warmer, because she got gauge so easy with a good topic to talk in the
beginning.

She did it so good again. She was so nice and both of
us enjoyed the class. She practiced when I ask her,
and even before to ask her to start doing negative or
interrogative sentences, I didn’t need to ask it to her,
because she started trying without my order or my
help.
