Option 1- WWII Poster You must use a poster board and include: Title – World War II in Neat Large Letters List the Three Major Allies & PRINT the Flag Create a Graph of all three’s dead & wounded PRINT a Labeled Picture of the Leader List three Important Contributions from WWII List the Three Major Axis Powers & PRINT the Flag Create a Graph of all three’s dead & wounded PRINT a Labeled Picture of the Leader List two extreme acts of aggression (Six Total – 2 German, 2 – Japanese, 2 –Italian) PRINT three labeled Pictures of three Weapons New to War PRINT five labeled Pictures of five important people in the war & Explain in a TYPED paragraph who each one was & how they were involved in the WWII PRINT a blank Map of Europe & Color it *Make sure to include a legend One Color for Axis Powers & the land they controlled One Color for the Allies One Color for the Neutral Label the Battle of Stalingrad, Battle of the Bulge, & D-Day PRINT four Pictures of Propaganda & Explain each picture in a paragraph Option 2 – Time Warp Rap of the Second Semester TYPE & PRINT a song (Traditional or Rap) about all the things we covered in the second semester. Begin with Absolutism to the Iraq War. Must Be: Twelve Versus With Six Choruses in between Make sure to include 12 of the key figures we discussed during the semester Must perform VIDEO the song and play it for your class to watch! Option 3 – Industrial Revolution Invention *** This Invention MUST HAVE BEEN DURING THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION!!! RECREATE one of the inventions during the Industrial Revolution Must use: o Supplies from home such as wood, toothpicks, cotton balls, Popsicle sticks, etc. o NO MODELS DO NOT BUY A MODEL! o MUST HAVE BEEN MADE DURING THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION o Must be accurate and appealing o MUST include a 1 (one) page typed explanation of the invention, its use, and anything else you feel should be included. Option 4 - Read the book Animal Farm by George Orwell and… To the animals, they created a utopia in which they ruled themselves and everything they did benefited the whole of Animal Farm. Create a functional utopia of your own on a poster board. You must: Create a detailed society and a specific governmental system. You may use an existing governmental/economic system, or you can create one of your own. Consider: democracy, totalitarianism, oligarchy, capitalism, communism, socialism, etc. Include in the creation of the utopia: a class system, laws, media, personal freedoms, religion, values, family, natural resources, imports/exports, etc. (Must include 6 of these) Include a map of your utopia, indicating the name of the country and the capital city. A ½ typed analysis of the book. Option 5 – Bibliography on a Famous Person Must Be: 3 Pages typed or 1300 words On Any Person THAT was discussed in the Class * Check with Mr. Burch first!
