Hello Pacer Parents!
The weather this weekend has shifted abruptly to fall and the PTO meeting on September 8th covered events
going all the way to the end of the year – eek! It’s never too early to start talking about our Secret Santa event,
right? We had a wonderful turnout at our meeting last Tuesday, but we missed all of you that weren’t able to
make it. Attached to this email you will find our meeting minutes. If you have any questions or concerns,
please contact us at info@carlislepto.org. Our next meeting is October 13th at 7pm at Carlisle. Free
babysitting is available and we would love to see you there.
Thank you to all of those who have volunteered to make Carlisle Elementary School Picture Day a great one!
We appreciate your time commitment to what will be a very busy day. Paperwork should have come home
with your student this past week regarding Picture Day describing the picture packages. As a reminder, Fall
Picture Day for the Kindergarteners – 3rd graders is September 22nd, while the 4th graders will be having their
pictures taken on September 23rd. Get those smiles ready!!
We need your help! Parent/Teacher Conferences are coming up in less than a month (October 8th and
October 13th). Our teachers will not have an opportunity to get out of the school until late that night, so we
want to bring dinner (and dessert) to them. If you can help out, please send an email to info@carlislepto.org
and note which date you are able to assist; additional details will be sent to you.
There are still volunteer opportunities available to help out with the Book Fair running from October 8th –
October 15th. Please check out the sign-up genius link for remaining shifts. If you have questions, please
contact the wonderful librarian, Carrie Abahazi (aka Mrs. A), if you have any questions at

Are you going grocery shopping this weekend? Did you know that for every Box Top handed in, Carlisle
Elementary gets 10₡ to use towards…well anything? In the past, Box Tops for Education and Campbell
Labels for Education have been used to purchase playground equipment, laptop computers, classroom
supplies, and many other much needed (and appreciated) items. So clean out your junk drawer and get those
labels and Box Tops in. All you need to do is clip the label and send it in in a plastic bag with your teacher’s
name written on it. We will do the rest. Below are the product listings that participate in these fantastic
programs. All you have to do is go shopping and clip the labels.
