from around the country. Presenters will share tips and best practices designed to strengthen

Please join us for our annual business meeting of the Educators Academy.
11 a.m.–noon, Transitioning to Academe: Using Your Skills in the Classroom
Public relations education is in crisis with too many open teaching positions and too few Ph.D.’s
to fill them. Presenters will introduce the highly acclaimed “Learning to Teach” series offered by
the Educators Academy. They provide insight into how you can transition from the practice to
the classroom, and share their journey into academe as well as the plusses and minuses of
teaching.
