Mrs Shelley Hancock—from certain citizens requesting the construction of public toilets in Nerriga.
Ms Clover Moore—from certain citizens requesting the provision of bus services to the Walsh Bay
precinct and the provision of ferry services to the new wharf at Pier 2/3.
Ms Clover Moore—from certain citizens opposing the sale of animals in pet shops.
Ms Clover Moore—from certain citizens requesting an increase in funding for mental health services.

Mr Troy Grant made a statement in support of his notice being accorded priority over the other
business of the House.
(2)
Mr John Robertson also made a statement in support of his notice being accorded priority—
That this House calls on the Government to stop spinning and misleading the people of New
South Wales on key policy matters.
Question—That the motion of the member for Dubbo be accorded priority—put and passed.

MOTION ACCORDED PRIORITY—STATE BUDGET AND WESTERN NEW SOUTH WALES
Mr Troy Grant moved, pursuant to notice, That this House supports the Government’s Budget
commitments to Western New South Wales.
Upon which Ms Noreen Hay moved, That the motion be amended by leaving out all words after “That”
with a view to inserting instead:
“this House notes that the Budget:
(1)
Provides neither improved services or infrastructure for Western New South Wales, nor for
anywhere else in New South Wales;
(2)
Attacks the most vulnerable in our community;
(3)
Provides for sacking of Government workers and cuts to services; and
(4)
Foreshadows that the Government will fund its forward capital programme by selling
Government assets, including the electricity poles and wires.”
Question proposed—That the words proposed to be left out stand.
