SPRING CLEAN-UP CAMPAIGN DESIGNATED
Greatness Grows in Garland
The Garland Board of Commissioners has designated the week of March 31 – April 6, 2013 as Spring
Clean-Up Week. All residents are encouraged to clean up their property. Starting April 8, 2013 through
Friday April 12, 2013 the Town Maintenance Crew will be collecting garbage during this week.
ALL ITEMS FOR PICKUP MUST BE CURBSIDE BY MONDAY, APRIL 8, 2013 AT 8 AM.
THERE WILL BE ONLY ONE PICKUP PER HOUSEHOLD. ONCE STAFF HAS PICKED UP AT
YOUR RESIDENCE, IT WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO DISPOSE OF ITEMS PUT OUT
AFTER YOUR COLLECTION.
PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL LEAVES AND YARD DEBRIS ARE BAGGED SEPARATELY.
TIRES WILL BE PICKED UP AND WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO PUT TIRES ON YOUR
PROPERTY CURBSIDE FOR PICK UP. TIRES WITH RIMS WILL NOT BE PICKED UP!
WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PICK UP THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
Hazardous Materials (Paint, Oil, Chemicals, etc.) or containers that hold these materials.
Refrigerators/Washers/Dryers
Wooden Pallets
Batteries
Electronic Equipment (Computers, Printers, etc.)
Trees, Limbs, & Yard Debris resulting from clearing vacant lots.
Please call Town Hall if you have any questions about specific items. This will be the last Clean-Up until Fall
2013. Please take advantage of this opportunity to join the Town of Garland and the Garden Club of Garland
by helping to beautify our town. Your cooperation and assistance will be appreciated. Greatness Grows In
