GDC Engineering, an EASA approved Design Organization (EASA.21J.033), part of the GDC Group is looking for a
Quality Engineer (m/f)
For quality activities for various projects for transport category airplanes.
Key tasks and responsibilities:













Coordination between Design and Production
Conduction of First Article Inspections and Production Audits
Definition of qualification requirements of structural parts and establishing the corresponding Process
specifications
Definition of Inspection Plans and establishing the corresponding process specifications
Definition of Identification and Marking and establishing the corresponding process specifications
Processing and Administration of Concessions
Establish processes for STC business
Checking of Design Documents and Specifications in terms of Quality Engineering related issues
Processing and Administration of Standardization Requests
Preparation of Specifications
Preparation of Design Organization related Quality Management Documents
Equipment Qualification Tasks
Co-operating with the specialist department in establishing acceptance regulations applicable to
subcontractors or arranging for them to be established.
Skills and Experiences:







University degree (or equivalent) in engineering science
Minimum 4 years’ experience related to Interior/Cabin Safety (ATA 25, 26, 38)
Experience in EASA Part 21 and CS/JAR/FAA certification requirements
Must have excellent communication/presentation skills and above average working knowledge of
personal computer software and drawing tools
Ability to communicate effectively in English and German, orally and in writing, with internal and
external personnel at all levels
Candidates need to be team players, diligent, able to perform to challenging schedules and be target
driven
Experience with metallic materials used in aerospace applications and corresponding processes is highly
appreciated
