Business Developer/Technical Sales

National Manufacturing Company, Inc., a leading manufacturer of Deep drawn metal enclosures is currently seeking a talented Business development/Technical Sales Professional with an

Entrepreneurial Spirit. This is a position with tremendous opportunity and growth as we continue to expand our business.

Responsibilities:

 Number one responsibility; establishing and developing New Markets and Opportunities within the core competencies of National Manufacturing.

 Contribute to profitability and growth of the organization by identifying market trends establishing new market share from within existing markets.

 Obtains and presents market intelligence by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends within specified target markets.

 Strong follow-up on qualified customers and opportunities.

 Offer and sell National’s capabilities by establishing and developing strong relationships with prospects/customers, while at the same time recommending solutions.

Skills/Qualifications:

 5 – 7 years sales experience with strong technical selling skills in a manufacturing environment – candidates with only background in IT, finance, commercial or retail experience will not be considered

 Need to demonstrate the capability of developing a good technical understanding of our process and competencies.

 Should be able to understand the customer’s technical requirements and work with our engineering and quality team in meeting customer expectations.

 Strong technical orientation, ability to interpret engineering drawings, understands complex specifications and customers’ products and processes.

 Prior experience in medical, aerospace, battery, military markets preferred

Familiar with ISO, Lean and contemporary quality requirements

Interested in the “hunt”, not deterred by rejection.

 Strong prospecting skills

 Strong telephone and customer relationship skills.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 Strong organizational and time management skills

 Experience working autonomously and part of a skilled, high performance team

 Strong PC and internet research skills-MS outlook, Excel, PowerPoint

Familiarity with ACT or similar CRM software preferred

 Minimum undergraduate degree, preferably technical.

Willing to travel 30% of the time.
