Enviromentally Speaking
Gunnar Pacific Agencies takes a
responsible and active role in reducing our
environmental foot print in an effort to preserve our natural resources.
Gunnar Pacific is selective in regards to the furniture companies they work with and requires each of
those companies to take an active role in their sustainability and environmental initiatives. Calstone Inc.
for example is taking drastic steps to be 100% emission free and completely off the power grid within 10
years. It is measures such as these that allow consumers of Calstone to collect one LEED point simply by
using their product.
Gunnar Pacific works very closely with the Universities to help minimize the environmental impact of
purchasing new furniture. Gunnar Recycles 100% of all cardboard and wood used in packaging and
shipping. Gunnar Pacific in partnership with our customers has developed a
recycling program for the removal of outdated theatre seating and other office
furniture product. In less than 2 years
over 1600 theater seats have been
broken down to their recyclable
components and diverted from landfill. It is initiatives such as this that
allow us to do our part in making the
world a greener place.
Gunnar Pacific Agencies acknowledges the extreme importance of a commitment to the
environment and will continue to make every effort possible in reducing our carbon footprint.
