This poem was difficult for this group to agree with. The poem has an
ABABBCC rhyme scheme and incorporates perfect and slant rhyme. In some of the
lines the rhythm is off (some lines have 10 beats others have 9 and they appear in no
specific order).
Mike thinks it’s about horses…………..

Anywho…Phil thought that it was about a promiscuous man gloating about his
many one-night-stands. Ally thought it was about discovering what someone wants out
of a relationship after one night of perfect love. Gunnar thought it was about a man
getting older and not being able to attract as many women as he used to. And Duane had
the same ideas as Gunnar did.
