Be able to create new arrangements of existing pieces of music that are practical for the forces required (A2, B4, C3, C6) 4. Learning and Teaching Methods, including the nature and number of contact hours and the total study hours which will be expected of students, and how these relate to achievement of the intended learning outcomes Delivery of this module is by lectures, seminars and workshops. The total workload is 300 hours including approximately 2 hours staff contact time per week over two terms. In addition to this, students are expected to supplement lectures by researching information using recommended listening and score reading. 17. Implications for learning resources, including staff, library, IT and space For this module, students require access to listening facilities, as well as audio recordings and printed music scores. To complete the coursework tasks, students will use music notation software. These facilities are provided as part of the business plan for the School of Arts at Medway. 19.
