Parent/Teacher Conferences are October 14th and 15th. Our teachers are available to you from 12:303:15 on the 14th, and on the 15th from 7:30am to 12:15. Please contact Mrs. Kim Wagner at 631-8865,
ext. 209, and she will be happy to make your appointments for you. Keep in mind that P/T conferences
are not required. We hold them so that if you have concerns, you may sit down and talk with our
teachers.
Make-up pictures for underclassmen will be taken on Monday, October 12th during 1st hour. Senior
make-up pictures will also be taken on October 12th from 7:00am to 7:30am in the auditorium. See
message below from Ms. Wangen:
Dear MSM Families,
We will be providing MAKEUP cap & gown pictures for those seniors who missed picture day in August.
The makeup opportunity will be this coming MONDAY, October 12, before school from 7:00am to
7:30am in the school auditorium. Below I have listed some guidelines for attire for boys and girls. If you
have any questions, please contact Sarah Wangen: swangen@mountstmary.org
ATTIRE: Students will be wearing their graduation robes and caps for the pictures, provided by the
photographer. BOYS: Wear a white, button-down shirt with a collar, and a tie. Please be clean-shaven
and groomed for your picture. GIRLS: Wear a top with a neckline low enough that it will not show over
the top of your gown (no tee-shirts, or high-collared shirts; tank tops work well).
Fall Break begins this week! On Wednesday morning the underclassmen will take the PSAT test starting
and 8:00 a.m. with completion around noon. They are dismissed at that time for Fall Break. SENIORS
will be attending their Senior Retreat at OLOG on this day and will return to school around 7:30 p.m.
(You should be receiving more information about this next week.) ALL students are then off on
Thursday and Friday, with return on Monday, Oct. 10th, which will be a “B” day!
Football travels to Meeker Thursday night, with kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
Volleyball is traveling to Shawnee today to participate in the State Volleyball Tournament. Game time
today is at 1:30 p.m. (quarter-finals), with the semi-finals tomorrow at noon and the finals at 6:15 p.m.,
also in Shawnee. GO ROCKETS! TAKE STATE!!!
One-Act Regionals are tomorrow at Bishop McGuinness High School. Our Drama students perform at
3:00 p.m. and would love for everyone to come out to support them!
