MEDIA GUIDELINES 95th Annual Meeting of the British Association of Dermatologists 7th - 9th July 2015, Manchester Central, Manchester, UK Building on its reputation as a high quality internationally renowned event, the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) is delighted to announce the Annual Meeting for 2015, providing a blend of new scientific presentations with updates from experts in various fields. We warmly welcome exhibitors to what promises to be an informative and vibrant meeting. The following information seeks to assist you with any media relations work you may wish to conduct during the conference. PRESS RELEASE BOILERPLATE INFORMATION: We kindly request that all exhibitor media materials use the following boilerplate wording to acknowledge the BAD: The British Association of Dermatologists’ Annual Meeting takes places in Manchester from July 7th to 9th. For more information, visit www.bad.org.uk EMBARGO POLICY: All exhibitor media releases and media alerts relating to research or launches etc, presented at BAD 2014 must be embargoed to the start of the meeting, July 7th 2015. We are unable to allow press conferences by exhibitors at any time during the course of the meeting. On-site media interviews may be allowed with prior consent from the media team, who can allocate an area in the Press Office for this function. A list of attending media may be available on request from the Press Office. ON-SITE PRESS OFFICE: Exhibitors are welcome to leave hard copies of news releases with a member of the Media Team to be passed on to any attending media. MEDIA PASSES: Media passes are available only to working journalists and are subject to an application and approval process. The following are not eligible to apply for a media pass: any publication or media outlet’s advertising, marketing, public relations or sales representatives; publishers, editors, or reporters from manufacturers’ house organs or promotional publications; public relations staff of exhibitors or educational institutions; writers creating analyses or reports sold as a commodity to customers; other individuals who are not actually reporting on the meeting. Exhibitors may not register for media passes. Further details to follow, but the event will take place at 11:30am to 12:30pm on July 8th at Manchester Central Convention Complex.
