original conflict between the the Palestinians Arabs and Zionists they both struggle for land.
2. Why is Palestine important to different people? Palestine is important to different people
because Palestinian claims that lands are based on countries.
3. Summarize the Historical Jewish claims to Palestine? Jewish claims lands are based on
biblical promise to Abraham.
4. Summarize the historical Arab claims to Palestine? Arabs claims that lands are based on
residence in the country.

(b) Why did they select Palestine? Palestine was selected because it seemed logical and an
optimal place because it was the site for the Jewish origin.

and those who emigrated to Palestine during the Zionist Movement The difference between
both of them is that they both have different achievements. Jewish population in Palatine
wanted to achieve national goals. For those who emigrated to Palestine during the Zionist
Movement wanted to identify a place to create a settlement.

promise during the war that was added to the conflict.They made a promise to issued a

Britain and France so that the Arab provinces to divide and control the region.

independent Arab state.

tensions and violent confrontations between the Jewish and the Arab.

purpose of the British 1939 White paper is a policy that limits future Jewish immigrants and land
purchasing. The Zionist regarded the white paper as a betrayal of the Balfour Declaration.
