Essential Job Functions Maintains and strengthens relationships with key clients. Analyzes financial information obtained from clients to determine strategies for helping clients meet their financial objectives. Answers clients’ questions about the purposes and details of financial products, services and strategies. Contacts clients periodically to determine if there have been changes in their financial status. Explains and documents for clients the types of services that are to be provided, and the responsibilities to be taken by the personal financial professional. Interviews clients to determine their current income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax status, financial objectives, risk tolerance, and other information needed to develop a suitable financial strategy. Works closely with sales staff to increase financial products sales. Assist marketing and product development staff in developing and launching new products. Manages account documentation (i.e., proposals, agreement letters, reinsurance contracts, policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, etc.). Provides information for regulatory compliance (i.e., statutory filings, proof of insurance, certificates, etc.). Assists in the identification and implementation of technology such as CRM systems, Portfolio Management and other back office systems. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements Minimum 2 years experience supporting the sale of financial products Knowledge of financial services including: Life insurance, annuities, pensions, investment products, and retirement-related services State Life and Health insurance license Background in sales and/or sales support Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field; or equivalent education and experience is desired.
