When furnishing this information, UWCL will not attach an agency’s name to the data. Rather, we will supply anonymous budget sizes with the salary ranges requested. In this way, the relative salary levels can be compared across agencies without a breach of confidentiality. Many agencies have taken advantage of the UWCL capability when reviewing their own staff salaries. For example, if you employ two secretaries who do essentially the same type of work and are paid about the same, list “Secretary” only one time.
