Divide the apples by color, patterns, or sizes which ever you prefer. Graph the apples (Color a block for each apple) Graph them in multiple ways. Activity #2 How Many Apples? Pull out the apples inside each numbered basket. Write down the correct number of red and green apples that you have counted on the answer key. Exploration Station – For Ages 2 to 5 Numbers Activity #1 Cheerio chart Use cheerios to fill a chart that is divided up with a number inside each block. Activity #2 Play dough numbers Rolls play dough into snakes to make a number. Parents can model then child can try.
