Teri Gilbert 29775 Funk Road Calhan, CO 80808 719-510-8998 February 24, 2015 To Whom It May Concern: I have known Stephen Heitman in a variety of capacities over the past 8 years as school staff, parent, and community member. Therefore, it is with great pleasure that I write this letter of reference for him. Stephen Heitman has a number of strengths that make him a good candidate for any position he is seeking. As a student, he completed his work as assigned while showing respect to his teachers and classmates. As an athlete, Stephen stepped up to any challenge he or his team would face. He is an active participant in school activities, supporting both his classmates and his team. Stephen is also my teacher’s aide. He is helpful and finishes any task I assign in a timely matter. In the community, Stephen is involved with rodeo. He not only volunteers for the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo which raises monies for local military families, he and his friend successfully organized and ran a benefit rodeo to raise monies for two local families who suffered in traumatic automobile accidents. Again, he accomplishes any task assigned in a timely manner with respect to those he is working with. Often, when Stephen isn’t busy with work for the Pikes Peak or Bust rodeo committee he is on, he will check to see if there is anything he can do for me. Stephen is creative, has a great sense of humor, and has the ability to accomplish anything he sets his mind to. I have had the opportunity to watch Stephen Heitman grow and mature, and would recommend him for any endeavor he chooses to pursue. I believe he will be a positive addition to your organization.
