Impact: There are no direct reports into this role. This role delivers work objectives for a specific area of responsibility and operates within agreed parameters with some latitude to act. Financial responsibility: No budgetary responsibility. Decision making responsibility: Needs to apply independent judgement which will be guided by policies and precedents. Main Accountabilities: The role of the infrastructure engineer requires a broad understanding and capability across a diverse set of technical technologies. Within these capabilities it also requires the ability to manage third parties to ensure the technical delivery provides value for money and meets contractual specifications. In addition, the role is expected to deliver a level of expertise in a least one of the following areas: 1. Servers Hosting. Builds and maintains servers, storage, virtual resources, IT processes, infrastructure services and where appropriate manages hosting services to ensure quality of design and delivery meets contractual agreements. 2.
