Charge: ByLaws: III, F. Committee on Diversity (p. 2 of 5): Advise the Senate on all matters relating
to developing a campus climate that supports diversity, including, but not limited to the recruitment
and retention of a diverse faculty, staff, and student body. The Committee shall report regularly to the
Senate on matters of diversity, relating to traditionally underrepresented groups in enrollment, staffing,
equal opportunity and access.

Charge: Constitution Article 6, Section 6.7: The Committee on Rules and Bylaws is charged with:
a. Membership Maintenance
b. Proposing changes to the Bylaws, and adopting and maintaining rules;
c. Facilitating the election of senators who are State System Managers;
d. The official seating of senators
e. Recommending to the Senate additional standing and temporary committees;
f. Interpreting this Constitution and the University Senate Bylaws at the request of the Executive
