Position Overview The primary role of the Marketing Manager is to develop, plan and execute long-term marketing campaigns that build the XOS brand and drive sales of XOS products and services. This role will require expertise, creativity and innovation to engage prospective customers, encourage longterm customer loyalty, and, ultimately, to drive growth for XOS. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager ensures that customer-facing content is consistent with company strategies, product messaging, and company brand standards. Collaborating with a group of talented team members, the Marketing Manager implements and continuously improves results through campaign strategies and tactics. Essential Functions Working closely with Product Managers, Events Coordinator, the Sales team and Application Engineers the Marketing Manager will guide the development and own the execution of marketing campaigns, including product launches, customer-facing programs and materials, advertising, email, direct mail, PR, web content, social media, etc. Own the leads process, including lead generation, qualification, distribution, tracking and ROI analysis; developing and executing lead nurturing and loyalty programs in the process. Document and keep up-to-date brand standards including style guide and visual brand language. Maintain and grow customer contact database. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required. Degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or design is preferable. A minimum of 3-to-5 years experience in marketing, PR, and/or advertising required. Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, listening, oral, and written communications skills required. Strong project management, organizational and analytical skills, along with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, required. Strong creative writing skills required. Must be able to develop compelling, yet concise, customer communications, as well as proof and edit copy, layout, and design. Experience executing new product launches preferred. Experience in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets is desired. Experience with Microsoft Office required. HubSpot (or similar Marketing automation software), WordPress, SalesForce, Visio and Illustrator desired. Position is based in East Greenbush, NY (Albany, NY area) Up to 10% travel.
