Throughout the stage 2 training, the trainee is expected to build a portfolio demonstrating
their learning and provide evidence that they have achieved the required competencies.
This is an online ePortfolio which allows the trainees to create action logs, upload pieces of
evidence and request feedback from external trainers Trainees can access the many
different online NES resources available which are designed to support them through their
first few years as a hospital pharmacist.
Our resource section contains a webinar called “Introduction to ePortfolio for The Pharmacy
Vocational Training Scheme”. This includes: accessing the system, creating evidence logs,
using the various forms, linking evidence to the competency framework, storing evidence in
the personal library and demonstrates how trainers can provide feedback through the
ticketed feedback system. There is also a powerpoint presentation.
