KEVIN BELL REPARATION TRUST
We all have family and friends in many corners of the world and when tragedy strikes
everyone needs assistance; that is why the Kevin Bell Trust was formed, to help
bereaved families bring home the remains of their loved ones back to Ireland.
Recently the Kevin Bell Trust helped families in our own parish.
Funds are always needed to continue this wonderful work.

First Reading: Prophet Isaiah, Chapter 22, verses 19 - 23:
The key of the House of David is a symbol of the royal stewards’ authority to
grant or refuse admittance to the royal presence. A similar thing is used in
today’s Gospel when Jesus gives the keys of the kingdom of heaven to Peter.
Psalm 137: Your love, O Lord, is eternal, discard not the work of your hands.
Second Reading: St Paul’s letter to the Romans, Chapter 11 verses 33 to 36:
St Paul rejoices in the fantastic wonder of God’s wisdom and providence.
St Matthew’s Gospel, Chapter 16, verses 13 to 20:
St Peter’s profession of faith in Jesus as the Messiah and the
Son of the living God is given to him by divine revelation.
Choir returns on Sunday 7 September at 12noon Mass. We would like to welcome
back all our regular members and send out an invitation to new members, male and
female who are very much needed and very welcome.
CHILDREN’S LITURGY
Our Children’s Liturgy starts back on Sunday 7th September. The leaders welcome
back all those who enjoyed last year and send out a big welcome to newcomers who
wish to start in September. Primary school children only. Parents will need to fill out
a registration form; these will be available on the day.

running a public consultation on a proposed amendment to the Criminal Justice
Bill that will ensure that private clinics, such as the Marie Stopes centre in Belfast,
cannot legally carry out abortion. You can sign the petition online at
