CLOSED GROUP : Course Title -: “Content and Language Integrated Learning”
Mornings: Pedagogy, teaching strategy and the 4 skills
Afternoons: Language (Vocabulary & Grammar) and Phonology pertinent to the school subjects taught
Course component: Modular sessions with reference to methodology. There will also be (optional) observations of experienced
teachers.
Time frame 50 hours – 2-week Course Programme:

Accommodation: This will be in Standard Homestay, within walking distance of the school. This includes own bedroom and Wi-Fi
internet access, and is on a half-board basis during the week and full-board basis at weekends. Packed lunch to be included where

Social Programme:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday nights: 7.45-9.45 pm - Hawley Club night at the school featuring: a movie, quiz night,
Karaoke, Casino Evening, International Cuisine or talk on an aspect of British Culture.
Friday afternoon excursion to local area of interest.
