CONVERSION INSTRUCTIONS
(Change out kits for GFD30 and GFD42)
TOOLS NEEDED
1. 6mm Box Wrench
2. 2 Adjustable Wrenches
3. Phillips Screwdriver
4. Small Flathead Screwdriver

WARNING!

contractor must perform the installation. Installation must be done in accordance with the
installation instructions included with this product.
GRANDFIRE DELUXE GRILL NG CONVERSION INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: (Change Main Burner Injector)
Remove all cooking grates and burner covers
above the burners.
STEP 2: Remove the nut
on back of the burner.
Take out main burner.
STEP 3: Locate the
orifice in basin. Use a
6mm box wrench to
gently loosen the LP
injector.
STEP 4: Replace NG orifice (Φ2.50mm) and
tighten gently. DO NOT over tighten.
STEP 5: Put main burner back and tighten the STEP 6: (Change Back
nut on the back.

STEP 7: Remove LP
orifice with wrench.
Install NG injector and
tighten gently. (30”1.60mm, 42”-1.93mm)
STEP 8: Install the operation window panel
back on the rear hood.
STEP 9: (Change the
Regulator) Remove the
LP regulator (Remain the
T joint fitting on)
STEP 10: Attach NG regulator assembly to
grill. Connect the grill to Bayonet point for
fuel.
STEP 11: (Leak Test) Connect grill to gas
supply and refer to User Manual for leak test
procedure.
STEP 12: (Fire Test/Low Flame Setting)
Refer to User Manual for fire test and low
flame setting procedures.
* The SS flex tube is optional for longer connections from BBQ grill to NG regulator. It is
not a must installed part.
