As a teacher of the Education2020 program in Centinela Valley, I agree to the following policies and procedures.

Regarding my overall responsibilities in Education2020, I will:
o not share my username and password with others unless approved by my administration
o attend scheduled e2020 trainings and contact the Director of Curriculum & Instruction with any
programmatic questions or concerns

completed by his/her counselor
I will review student progress on a daily basis and apply the interventions listed below when a student is
not making satisfactory progress
 I will conference individually with any student more than one week behind in coursework, notify
his/her counselor via email, and contact the student’s parent
 I will contact the counselor of any student who is more than 2 weeks behind in coursework and
notify the student’s parents; the counselor will then coordinate a meeting with the student and
parent
Regarding quizzes, tests, and cumulative exams, I will adhere to the following:
o If a student struggles to demonstrate mastery of the content on assessments, I will follow the below
procedures:
 For Quizzes:
 If a student does not pass a lesson quiz two times, I am responsible for resetting the
activities of the lesson – the lecture and the online content will be reset.
 I will instruct the student to redo the lesson and inform him/her that notes must be
taken this time, either in a notebook or by using the e2020 eNotes feature.



Once the student has completed the activities, I will check that he/she has taken notes.
If I am satisfied with their notes, I will allow an optional retake for the lesson quiz.
 If the student does not pass the quiz on the 3rd attempt, I will award the highest grade of
their attempts or a grade of 50% if each of the student’s attempts earned lower than
50%. I will then move the student on to the next lesson.
 I will NOT enable the quiz review method which allows students to see the questions
and correct answers.
For Tests and Cumulative Exams:
 I am to grant access to the test only after I deem the student prepared for the test. I will
grant access after I deem that the student’s notes and quiz scores are adequate in order
to be prepared for the test. Students are given two total attempts for each test. If the
required 60% mastery level is not reached, I will award the highest of the two attempts
and move the student forward.
 I will NOT allow the use of eNotes on tests and cumulative exams.
Bypass Policy
 I will not bypass any lesson activity except as outlined above.

make in the Education2020 program are being logged and are accessible to the district office.
