PCI selects Bethany House of Northern Virginia as 2015 Pro Bono Client
Northern Virginia domestic violence shelter to receive outreach and marketing services
ALEXANDRIA, VA — PCI, a leading marketing agency, has selected Bethany House of
Northern Virginia as its pro bono client for 2015. PCI will provide Bethany House with a
strategic communications plan, social media support, and key outreach materials for
partners and donors to support the renovation and expansion of its housing facilities.
Bethany House is a private, nonprofit organization providing emergency shelter and
support services to victims of domestic violence throughout Northern Virginia and
surrounding DC metro communities. Since 1979, Bethany House has provided families
with safe, confidential shelter – along with case management, counseling, life skills
instruction and employment counseling and other services – to help them thrive. In
Fairfax County, 33% of family homelessness is due to domestic violence.
“Outreach and marketing are critical to sustaining and building support from donors and
volunteers,” said Jasmin Witcher, Interim Executive Director. “The needs for our
services are immense. We are striving to expand our housing facility, and are grateful
for this opportunity to strengthen communications with the potential partners,
businesses, and community members who are critical to our success.”
"Bethany House is providing services that are truly essential and life-changing,” said
Bob Sprague, President & CEO of PCI. "We look forward to working with Bethany
House as part of our commitment to helping create healthy communities."
