All cattle must arrive at Hexham Auction Mart by 4.00pm and passports must be lodged in the mart office by 5.00pm on Thursday 13th August. Cattle entered in class 1 must be presented for weighing over the Mart weighbridge between 4.00 - 4.30pm on Thursday 13th August and must weigh 500kg or over to qualify. Calves entered in class 14 must have been born on or after 1st January 2015. All cattle entered for the show must also be entered and presented for sale on Friday 14th August. Cattle withdrawn or unsold in the sale ring will forfeit all prize money. Cattle may be shown in one class (No’s 1-14) only. Only cattle placed 1st in classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 10, 13 & 14 are eligible to compete for the Supreme Overall Championship. All exhibits must have been in the ownership of the exhibitor for a minimum of 90 days prior to the show. All exhibitors must wear white coats when parading animals in the show ring and ensure that the correct exhibit number neck card is displayed on the animal. All show cattle will be offered for sale at 12 Noon on Friday 14th August in order of prize allocations. This order will be determined at the conclusion of the show. The prize money fund for the event shall not exceed Two Thousand, One Hundred and Ten Pounds. Should any dispute arise the auctioneers will act as referee and any such decision shall be final and binding.
