Technology and Innovation Project Final Project Due Wednesday, March 14th (Presentations will start Tuesday, March 13 for individuals or pairs that are ready) Class work days for the project March. 5th, March. 6th, March. 7th (And possibly a couple more class work days). Yet, beyond these class work days it should be thought of as work for Flex periods and for homework. Project Choices Students will pick one of the following categories to research, write a small (2 page) report, and visualize: 1. Revolution in factories/machines (1790 – 1880) How did factories and machines improve and change society over time? 2. Revolution in Land transportation (1790 – 1880) How did transportation technology improve and change society over time? 3. Revolution in Water transportation (1790 – 1880) How did water transportation technology improve and change society over time? 4. Revolution in Communication (1790 – 1880) How did the technology for the communication of “words” or messages improve and change society over time? 5. Revolution in Agriculture (1790 – 1880) How did the improvements in machines used for harvesting or developing agricultural products change society over time?
