San Diego City College Articulation Agreement: Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences: Health Education Concentration The USU Experience: USU students will have the opportunity to complete their Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degrees in an educationally enriching environment in courses that are held 8 weeks long in duration. USU offers both on-ground, hybrid, and online courses, making it easy for students to work and carry out life activities successfully while in school. Bachelor of Science in Health Science, Health Education: This program prepares individuals to plan, implement, and evaluate programs for health and human services such as those offered by health departments, voluntary health agencies, clinics, hospitals, and businesses and health care industries. Health educators are employed under a range of job titles such as patient educators, health education teachers, trainers, community organizers and health program managers. The program graduate will be eligible for the Certified Health Education Specialist examination (CHES) through the National Commission for Health Credentialing. General Transfer Information: Each transfer course must be completed with a “C-” grade or better. This agreement is used in conjunction with the USU General Education articulation agreement. For the BSHS HE program, up to 90 semester credits maximum can be transferable. United States University will accept IGETC or CSU GE for general education pattern.
